Cabinet knobs and pulls should “feel” good
March 25, 2009
Cabinet knobs and pulls aren’t just to look at, so maybe your sense of touch might want to be considered when selecting new decorative hardware. Use your hands, get in there and touch all of the knobs and pulls before making a decision. A good grip is important, but I always like a thick handle that fills up the hand and with a good weight.
Buying cabinet knobs and pulls is a lot like buying a new car. You wouldn’t want to buy a car that just looked good on the outside; you would want to make sure that your car ran and was comfortable on the inside. Good cabinet knobs and pulls will not only look good, but they will also feel good in your hands, and they will with stand a lot of wear and tear.
So next time you buy cabinet knobs and pulls, make sure they are made of quality material and will not fall apart when you touch them.
