Remembering back when I was about 6 years old, I’ll never forget the time when my front tooth started to loosen as the adult one started pushing it out.  My dad told me that when he was my age, he would tie one end of a string to the tooth that was loose, and the other end to a door knob, and out she went.

I didn’t think that I would have the courage to extract my tooth like my dear old dad had done, until one day while at school recess, another boy my age called me a yellow bellied chicken then he topped it off with a double dog dare which of course I called him on it.

 As soon as I got home from school that day, I went straight to my mothers kitchen, got some string, tied one end to my tooth and the other end to one of her kitchen cabinet pulls and slammed the door shut really hard resulting with me having one less tooth.

 So much for this coward stuff, and you know it didn’t even hurt!
